Creating an immersive entertainment destination that transforms a triangular site through playful design language, interactive spaces, and climate-responsive solutions. Where architecture becomes an extension of the recreational experience.
Task
Design and development of a comprehensive entertainment tourism complex integrating adaptive reuse of existing structures, custom playground equipment, multi-functional recreation zones, and sustainable water management systems within challenging triangular site constraints.
The Gerashland Entertainment Tourism Complex spans an impressive 17,000 square meters in Gerash, positioning it as one of the largest recreational developments in southern Fars province. This significant project represents a major private sector investment led by Mr. Haj GholamHossein Abedi.
Situated on a distinctive triangular plot at the northern edge of Gerash City, the project presented two primary design challenges:
- Integrating landscape elements harmoniously with the natural topography and existing site features
- Reimagining the form and facade of the pre-existing metal structure to align with the project’s entertainment and tourism functions
The outdoor areas are thoughtfully organized into four primary entertainment zones:

Comprises a versatile multipurpose sports section alongside dedicated spaces for traditional local games
